Girl or Boy
June 18th 2008 02:47
It has always been a mystery how, as the baby is conceived, their gender is dictated by factors which are still not known to man.
I have 2 boys, and although I really adore them to bits there is a part of me that still wish that I could have a baby girl. Nothing wrong with that, actually… except that nowadays raising kids is not just all about love and fondness of kids. There are costs that goes with it and time that parent have to give them as well.
Often people would tell me, “Try once more for a baby girl, this time…” And I often end up telling them,”If somebody could assure me 100% that the next one would be a girl then I’d go for it.” Surely, I mean what I said, unless of course we decide to have one regardless of gender.
I had a look around, researched a bit and realized that there are indeed methods that I could try to do to select my next baby’s gender before I conceive. But, there are so many choices; plus the fact that none of them seems to be 100% accurate.
The methods vary from those based on cultural beliefs, old Chinese method, some with scientific basis and supported with research and tests, some actually requires a hefty budget. Some methods would require a change in diet, keeping track of pattern changes in the woman’s ovulation (now, that does sounds tricky), having sex in a certain position… and the list just goes on.
But then, after reading about these I am still left in the same state as I was before I read through them. So really, is there such a know proven method? I think not, it’s still the wonder and miracle of creation. Though, it doesn’t hurt to try if you don’t have anything to lose.
How about you? Would you be able to give me a piece of your mind? Read through this <Preconception 101 (click on Link)> and tell me (especially if you are a mom like me) if you find any one of these partially true of just coincidental or if one or more of them applied to you. At least then, I could have something to think about.

scientific researches have proven that it has something to do with the womans' tract ph level acidity: acidity would favor the conception of a girl and alkalinity favors the conception of a boy. maybe on the earlier part of the day "mine's" ph level is more acidic than on the later part of the day. then again, my diet will come in to the picture. maybe because i always crave for sour foods that's why i'm more acidic.
here is the link:

there's another theory that since x-chromosomes (girl) are much slower and y-chromosomes(boys) are much faster, it also has something to do with the sexual position. they said that if you will do deep-penetrating styles like "doggy style" it helps the y-chromosomes to arrive first in the woman's reproductive tract. hmmm, that explains it, we always do the missionary style. hehe.
anyway, i've found this site which offers full refund if you didn't get the desired result. maybe in the future i'll try this one:

goodluck!

Wedding Code
Is there really no guaranteed methodology?
Well, we're still not decided if we want another one. But I really really want a girl the next time (if there will be a next time)
thanks for the tip, kitzzy07
